AHCSO respects your ability to make informed choices about the collection and uses of your personal information. We recognize the privacy of individuals with respect to their personal information. As such, we have developed the following privacy policy:

What Information Do We Collect and Why?

The information we receive from you, for membership purposes, helps us to identify you as a member of the Club and to provide you with access to the services and benefits of the Club.  This information is collected for the purposes of Club membership and allows us to respond to inquires and to maintain contact with you for Club purposes. This information includes your name, car details and e-mail address. As a chapter of the Austin Healey Club of America, the AHCSO provides basic information about you and your car to the Austin Healey Club of America for the purposes of compiling and distributing the Annual Member Directory, and to provide any services you may request of the Austin Healey Club of America.

Our web site automatically collects other information such as your IP address and navigational information. This is collected in order to monitor site performance and page utilization. With the exception of club executives, our web site does not provide member e-mail addresses, names or any other personal information.  No credit card transactions are done through our web site.

When Is Membership Information Obtained?

Information is obtained during membership registration and/or in the course of providing the service(s) you request of the Club.

How Do We Use the Information We Collect?

Any information AHCSO collects from you is only collected and used to help us better provide you with access to the services of the Club. We do not distribute information to third parties unless a third party is needed to further process your order or request. Confidentiality is very important to us. If we wish to use this information for a purpose other than to support reasonable and customary activities of the AHCSO, we will obtain your consent.

The information that we collect that is both general and specific will be shared between the Executive Officers in our organization to perform the activities you’ve requested. In addition, individual data will be used to understand membership trends.

How Do We Ensure Your Information is Protected?

We have safeguards in place to ensure your personal information is protected. Our files pertaining to membership reside with our membership Officer.
