1960 Austin Healey 3000 Mk 1 – BT7 Project for Sale

This Big Healey was disassembled around the late 1980’s and was intended to be a full restoration project. The past owner made progress by reconditioning many components and purchasing many new parts. It was purchased by the current owner in 2002, garage stored and remained untouched as a partial restored project. While in need to complete the restoration, it comes with the body and mechanical components as disassembled, including picture album documentation, parts list, Heritage certificate, original, new and reconditioned parts. When purchased, it was reported that the engine, transmission, differential and brakes were restored. Many additional pictures are available to show the extent of the all the parts, including a hardtop, new wiring and more. Originally manufactured in 1960, this Healey was later equipped with a tri-carb engine from a 1961-62 Mark II, including overdrive.
The original color was identified as Colorado Red.
Located in Beaconsfield, Quebec. Asking $21,650 CAD or $16,000 USD

1964 Austin Healey MkIII BJ8 for sale
Fully restored from 2009 to 2019. Approximately 12,000 miles since restoration completion by prior owner.
Car is in immaculate condition in olde English white finish with black leather interior
Numbers matching other than the gearbox which was replaced in the early 1970’s
Restoration included:
Full repaint in olde English white
A new frame made from heavier gauge steel to provide additional rigidity Inside of the frame rails coated with zinc flurry to prevent rust problems All components are new or rebuilt with the exception of the differential Engine was recorded, pistons, crank, flywheel/clutch were lightened and balanced.
Head was ported and polished
Denis Welsh fast road cam was installed
New Denis Welsh steering box added.
